God's Wisdom Bible Verses

Psalms 1 Blessed is the man that walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor stands in the way of sinners, nor sits in the seat of the scornful. But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in His law does he meditate day and night. And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that brings forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he does shall prosper. The ungodly are not so: but are like the chaff which the wind drives away. Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous. For the LORD knows the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish.
Keep away from wicked things:
Psalm 101:3 I will set no wicked thing before my eyes: I hate the work of them that turn aside; it shall not cleave to me.
Keep on doing good to receive good things:
Romans 2:6-9 [God] will render to every man according to his deeds: to them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honor and immortality, eternal life: but unto them that are contentious, and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, indignation, and wrath, tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that does evil; of the Jew first, and also of the Gentile.
Do what the Holy Spirit tells you is good, not what the world thinks is good.
Romans 8:5,6,13,14 For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit, the things of the Spirit. For to be carnally minded is death: but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. For if you live after the flesh, you shall die: but if you through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, you shall live. For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.
Be careful what you approve as good:
Romans 14:22b Happy is he that condemns not himself in that thing which he allows.
We have the mind of Christ:
1 Corinthians 2:16b But we have the mind of Christ.
Be spiritual and moral adults:
1 Corinthians 14:20 Bretheren, be not children in understanding: howbeit in malice be children, but in understanding be men.
God wants all things to be done in excellence:
1 Corinthians 14:40 Let all things be done decently and in order.
Always strive for perfection to gain favor with God:
2 Timothy 2:20-21 But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth; and some to honor, and some to dishonor. If a man therefore purge himself from [dishonor], he shall be a vessel unto honor, sanctified, and meet for the Master's use, and perpared unto every good work.
Punishment to polish us like jewels:
Hebrews 12:11 (TEV) When we are punished, it seems to us at the time something to make us sad, not glad. Later, however, those who have been disciplined by such punishment reap the peaceful reward of a righteous life.
To avoid temptation, don't let yourself be drawn away:
James 1:14 But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed.
The righteous have power through prayer:
James 5:16b The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.
How to overcome the world:
1 John 5:5 Who is he that overcomes the world, but he that believes that Jesus is the Son of God?

Inefficient light bulbs are disappearing and all being replaced by energy saving light bulbs. Inefficient light bulbs are being phased out over the next few years - helping everyone spend less on electricityEnergy saving light bulbs are compact, bright and available in a wide range of shapes - so the only difference you'll notice is a drop in your electricity bills. Energy efficient light bulbs are ever changing consumer landscapes with new bulbs and fixtures hitting the market every month. There are many energy saving light bulbs options to choose from that save money and reduce carbon dioxide emissions.

Today, there are three major competitors for your lighting dollars: conventional incandescent light bulbs (which will actually be phased out of many states, provinces, and countries in the coming years), compact fluorescent light bulbs (CFLs), and light-emitting diodes (LEDs). We’ll go into the details below on how each of these compare to the others, but for now, just know that LEDs are by far the most energy efficient, though they do require a higher upfront investment. Before we delve into the details, let’s cover a few helpful tips for buying energy saving light bulbs:
  • Become watt conscious: Before heading to the store, check the wattage on your current bulbs so that you know what to look for at the store.
  • Confirm size and shape: Next, look at the size of the bulb (you want your new bulbs to fit into your light fixtures and with existing lamp shades) as well as size (the size of the ballast or the screw-in part of the bulb).
  • Jot down special features: If you need dimmable lights, tri-stage lights, or those with a particular color, be sure to make note of these special features as well.
With this information at hand, you will come home with a better match for your current lighting needs.

Incandescent Light Bulbs

Remove the shades from your current lamps and you’ll likely find incandescent bulbs underneath. Using old technology (heating a metal filament wire until it glows), incandescent bulbs are the cheapest, but also the least energy efficient. Incandescent bulbs function more like little heaters since 90% of the energy used by these bulbs is converted into heat rather than light. They also have very short lifespans, shining for somewhere between 700 and 1,000 hours each.
Light Emitting Diodes (LED)
If you’ve already converted all of your light fixtures to CFLs and want a bigger challenge, consider opting for LEDs. They use at least 75% less energy than standard bulbs and last 15 times longer than incandescent light bulbs.
They come with many other advantages:
  • Instant-on functionality (unlike some CFLs)
  • Focused light allowing for precise light placement
  • Creates little to no heat, so they won’t add to air conditioning load
  • Very durable and can be used outdoors and in cold temperatures
LEDs can be used in a variety of applications, including:
  • Under cabinet lighting
  • Shelf-mounted display lighting
  • Task lighting
  • Desk lamps
  • Recessed down lights
  • Wall-mounted lighting indoors and outdoors
  • Step lights outdoors
  • Pathway lighting
The flexibility of this type of lighting is due in large part to the many different styles of LED bulbs. Consider these styles, for instance:
  • Diffused lights: LEDs are clustered together and covered with a dimpled lens to spread the light over a large area. These can be purchased as high-power versions for use in fixtures where you’d use 100-watt standard bulbs.
  • Track and spotlights: In this style, the LED bulbs are again grouped together but focused more precisely, making them ideal for lighting that needs a narrower focal area.
  • Flood lights: As with the other options, these again involve many LED bulbs, but this time they are spread more widely to provide a bright, wide angle light.

400 over year old steam locomotive can still functions taken in Australia, Melbourne - Puffin Billy

In AustraliaClyde Engineering of Sydney and also the Eveleigh Workshops built steam locomotives for the New South Wales Government Railways. These include the C38 class 4-6-2; the first five were built at Clyde with streamlining, the other 25 locomotives were built at Eveleigh (13) in Sydney, and Cardiff Workshops (12) near Newcastle. In Queensland, steam locomotives were locally constructed by Walkers. Similarly the South Australian state government railways also manufactured steam locomotives locally at Islington in Adelaide. The Victorian Railwaysconstructed most of their locomotives at their Newport Workshops and Bendigo while in the early days locomotives were built at the Phoenix Foundry in Ballarat. Locomotives constructed at the Newport shops ranged from the nA class 2-6-2T built for the narrow gauge, up to the H class 4-8-4, the largest conventional locomotive ever to operate in Australia, which weighed 260 tons. However, the title of largest locomotive in Australia goes to the 263-ton NSWGR AD60 class 4-8-4+4-8-4 Garratt (Oberg:1975), which were built by Beyer-Peacock in the United Kingdom.

How to draw ourself closer to God in the bible study ?

Psalms 34:12-15 What man is he that desires life, and loves many days, that he may see good? Keep your tongue from evil, and your lips from speaking guile. Depart from evil, and do good; seek peace, and pursue it. The eyes of the LORD are upon the righteous, and his ears are open unto their cry.
We should always have our thoughts on God:
Proverbs 3:6 In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.
Honor the Lord with what He blesses you with:
Proverbs 3:7-10 Be not wise in your own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil. It shall be health to your navel, and marrow to your bones. Honor the LORD with your substance, and with the firstfruits of all your increase: so shall your barns be filled with plenty, and your presses will burst out with new wine.
We are blessed for being diligent to God:
Proverbs 22:29 Do you see a man diligent in his business? He shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before mean men.
God blesses the righteous with wisdom and happiness, who get the wicked's wealth:
Ecclesiastes 2:26a,b For God gives to a man that is good in His sight, wisdom, and knowledge, and joy: but to the sinner He gives travail, to gather and to heap up, that He may give to him that is good before God.
Put an end to all evil, and you will be blessed:
Isaiah 58:9b-11a (TEV) If you put an end to oppression, to every gesture of contempt, and to every evil word; if you give food to the hungry and satisfy those who are in need, then the darkness around you will turn to the brightness of noon. And I will always guide you and satisfy you with good things. I will keep you strong and well.
The invincible God is on the side of the righteous:
Amos 5:8,9,14,15 (NIV) He who made the Pleiades and Orion, who turns blackness into dawn and darkens day into night, who calls for the waters of the sea and pours them out over the face of the land- the LORD is His name- He flashes destruction on the stronghold and brings the fortified city to ruin. Seek good, not evil, that you may live. The LORD God Almighty will be with you, just as you say He is. Hate evil, love good; maintain justice in the courts. Perhaps the LORD God Almighty will have mercy on the remnant of Joseph.
To be blessed, apply what God says in your life:
James 1:25 But whoso looks into the perfect law of liberty, and continues therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.
Those who please God receive what they ask from God:
1 John 3:21-23 Beloved, if our heart condemn us not, then have we confidence toward God. And whatsoever we ask, we receive of Him, because we keep His commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in His sight. And this is His commandment, "that we should believe on the name of His son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as He gave us commandment."
God hears us and answers our prayers:
1 John 5:14,15 And this is the confidence that we have in Him, that, if we ask any thing according to His will, He hears us: and if we know that He hears us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of Him.
Jesus will give authority to those who endure:
Revelation 2:26,28 And he that overcomes, and keeps My works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron; as the vessels of a potter shall they be broken to shivers: even as I received of My Father.
Jesus will claim those who endure:
Revelation 3:5 He that overcomes, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before My Father, and before His angels.
